Last Light, Original Sighthound Dog Painting
£345.00
A quiet moment at the end of the day, Last Light captures the warmth and freedom of an evening walk along the coast. Two dogs race across the open sand while a solitary figure follows, beneath a fading coral sun and a distant, darkened shoreline.
Soft washes of muted peach and blue-green contrast with expressive graphite marks and delicate coloured-pencil lines. The composition balances stillness with movement, allowing the dogs' playful energy to unfold within an expansive, atmospheric landscape. Areas of exposed paper and loosely drawn contours give the painting a spontaneous, unfinished quality that echoes the fleeting nature of the moment.
An original mixed-media work on watercolour paper, hand-painted in my studio.
